PhoneShield
Phone protection
More context before you trust a call.
We’re building PhoneShield to help you assess suspicious calls with understandable context, including related email evidence where supported. It is in development and will be released when ready; no download is available yet.
Pre-launch product preview. In development; availability will vary by product and platform. See the phased rollout. Signup does not activate protection.

A warning with context
An unfamiliar number can leave you unsure what to do. PhoneShield’s focus is the reason for concern: relevant context that helps you assess a call without treating suspicion as certainty.
In development
Android and iPhone
The first validation target connects a call with an earlier suspicious email on Android. That connection has not yet been verified. iPhone uses a separate approach and requires its own testing.

Help you choose a next step
Pause and assess a call before deciding what to do next. The experience is being developed to explain relevant warning signs; it does not establish who is behind a call.
Planned for a later phase
Optional callback and trusted-person guidance
Directory checks and trusted-person features are planned for a later phase and are not available yet. Any sharing requires a clear explanation and your permission.

Recorded screens from our iOS simulator and Android development builds. Features and setup differ by platform; captions state what each screen shows.

PhoneShield for iOS
The family phone-check screen before devices are paired. Pairing and real calls are not demonstrated here; this is a different feature scope from Android.

PhoneShield for Android
The number-blocking screen with an empty list. No personal numbers are shown, and this image does not demonstrate a call being blocked.
